Mover smart M RS1 manoeuvring system�

These installation instructions are aimed at experts�
Only competent and trained people (experts) are permit-
ted to install and repair the Truma product and to carry
out the function test, at the same time observing the
installation and operating instructions and the currently
recognised technical regulations� Experts are people
who, based on their specialist instruction and training,
their knowledge and experience with Truma products
and the relevant standards, can carry out the necessary
work properly and identify potential hazards�
Gender-specific language has not been used to im-
prove legibility� Corresponding terms apply to people
of all genders in the interests of equal treatment�

Safety instructions
Additional safety instructions are listed below to alert
the expert to particular dangers when installing Truma
products�
2.1
General
Installation work must comply with the conditions on
site, the local regulations and the technical regulations�
Wear personal protective equipment�
Observe the legal regulations on accident preven-
tion�
Observe the legal regulations on environmental
protection�
2.2
Handling fuels
To install a manoeuvring system, it may be necessary to
relocate heating, gas or diesel lines�
All lines carrying fuel (diesel lines, gas lines) must be
tightly connected and must not show any signs of dam-
age� If any damage or leaks are detected in the fuel line,
do not operate the device until the damage has been
repaired� When opening gas or diesel lines, residual gas
or diesel may escape�
Turn off the gas cylinder�
Ensure adequate ventilation�
Do not inhale fumes�
Do not smoke, no naked flames�
2.3
Handling electricity
Work on the electrical system may only be carried out
by qualified electricians�
Observe country-specific and voltage-dependent
rules and regulations�
Take vehicle conditions into account�
Ensure the necessary health and safety measures
are observed and wear personal protective equip-
ment�
2.3.1 Mains voltage 230 V AC
Devices installed in the caravan (e�g� charger for the
manoeuvring system battery) may be live� Touching live
parts can be fatal or cause serious injury�
When working on electrical installations parts,
switch off the power supply, e�g� using fuses or
residual current circuit breakers (RCCD) in the main
