• At the craniotomy site (Fig 13, a)
close the scalp incision around the
parenchymal
standard hospital procedures. Make
sure not to suture the catheter body to
avoid damaging the probe.
• Use single sutures to secure the
parenchymal probe guide (Fig. 13, b)
to the scalp near the incision which is
located 40 - 70 mm from the drill hole
or craniotomy site. Place the suture
between the suture retaining rings on
the parenchymal probe guide. Close
the scalp using standard hospital
procedures.

Licox PMOBOX
Prior to measurement the patient
bedside monitor must be zeroed
according to the Licox PMOBOX
operations manual.
Please note that temperature will not
be displayed on the bedside monitor.
• Connect the combined oxygen and
temperature probe to the blue monitor
cable REF PMOCAB. Connect the
cable REF PMOCAB to the blue oxygen
input socket of the PMOBOX.
• The smart card is not required. Connect
the Licox PMOBOX and the patient
bedside monitor using NL950-MC-xx
cable.

Safe Removal and Disposal
• Removal of the system should occur in
reverse order of the insertion.
• The skin may be closed with a suture
or staples.
