How to
Use
the
CdS Meter

Handhabung des CdS-Belichtungsmessers
The
CdS
meter
of
the MIRANDA Sensorex is
powered
by a mercury battery. Before using
your
new
Sensorex, therefore, load the mercury
battery which
is
supplied with
it
in
the
battery
compartment
of the camera.
1.
Take
off
the battery
compartment
lid of the camera by turning it
in a
counter-clockwise
motion.
2.
Place the mercury battery in the
compartment, seeing
to it that the
(
+
)
side faces the camera back,
and
close the lid.
3.
The meter
will be activated
by turning on the
meter switch.
The
meter will not function if the polarity
of
the mercury battery is reversed.
Under
ordinary
circumstances, the mercury
battery will provide sufficient power
to work the meter
over a duration of
about
two
years.
The
battery
power declines
sharply when
it nears the
end of
its
life-span, resulting in
sluggish
movement
of
the meter needle seen through the
finder.
In this case,
replacement of
the
mercury battery
is
necessary.
Remove the
mercury battery
from its
compartment when
the
camera
is
to be
left unused
over any
great
length of
time.

Avant d'utiliser
votre
Sensorex, placer

pile dans
Ie
boitier
comme
suit
:
1.
Enlever
Ie couvercle
du comportiment'pile par rotation
a
gauche.
2.
Introduire
10 pile au mercure dons Ie
compartiment.
Le
pole positif
(+)
de 10 pile doit
etre
place
c~ntre
I'arriere (voir
illustration).
Placer
a
nouveou Ie couvercle du compartiment-pile.
3.
Le pose
metre fonctionnera
sitot que
I'interrupteur
du posemetre sera mis
sur "ON."
Le posemetre ne fonctionnera pas
si
10 pile a ete
inversee.
Le temps d
'uti
lisation moyen d
'
une pile est de deux
ans.
Apres ce
temps, 10
tension
dlminuera rapide·
ment.
Cette d iminution de
tension se voit
de 10 maniere suivante:
L'oiguille de mesure
se
trouvant
dons Ie viseur, fonctionnero par
accrocs.
II sera necessaire de remplacer 10
pile.
Lorsque I'appareil n'est pas
utilise
pendont un certain temps, conserver
10
pile
separement.

Der
CdS-Belichtungsmesser
der
MIRANDA Sensorex
wird
durch eine Mangan-Knopfbatterie
betriebsfahig.
Vor
der
ersten
Benutzung Ihrer MIRANDA Sensorex
wird also die
Mangan-Knopf-
batterie in das Batterie-Gehause
eingesetzt.
I.
Batterie-Gehause-Deckel
durch
Linksdrehung entfernen.
2.
Mangan-Knopfbatterie
einsetzen.
Das
(+)
Pol der Batterie muss nach hinten
gerichtet sein.
Batterie-Gehause-Deckel
wieder einsetzen.
3.
Der Belichtungsmesser wird
funktionnieren sobald
der
CdS-Messer Schalter auf "ON" gestellt
wird.
Der Belichtungsmesser
wird
nicht funktionnieren, wenn die Batterie
verkehrt eingesetzt
ist.
Unter
normalen
Umstanden
betragt die Lebensdauer der Batterie
2
Jahre.
Am
Ende
dieser
Zeit
sinkt die Spannung sehr
rasch
.
Man
stellt
diesse fest indem die im
Sucher sichtbare
Messnadel
ruckweise
funktionniert.
Die Batterie muss
dann ausgewechselt werden.
Sollte
di
e
Kamera
wahrend
langerer
Zeit
nicht benutzt werden, ist
es empfehlenswert
die Batterie
zu
entfernen und separat
zu
lagern.
