Persons with limited mobility may fall when stepping onto the weighing
platform.
► Support people with limited mobility when they step onto the scale.
1. Make sure that there is no load on the weighing platform.
2. Ask the patient to step onto the weighing platform.
3. Ask the patient to keep still.
4. Read off the measured result.

Patient hazard
To prevent misinterpretations, measured results for medical purposes
must only be displayed and used in SI units (weight: kilograms/grams,
height: meters/centimeters). Some devices have the option of display-
ing measured results in different units. This is purely an additional func-
tion.

► The user takes sole responsibility for the use of measured results in
non-SI units.
