• If the cooker is not used for long periods, protect the steel surfaces
by covering them in vaseline; periodically air the premises.
• Do not use abrasive products which cause corrosion. All products
such as spoons, ladles, etc should be in stainless steel.
Stainless steel wool can be used for cleaning - when cleaning
follow the same grain direction as the stainless steel.
• Salt should be added only when water has reached boiling, any
residues should be removed after cooking.
Large coarse salt should never be used as it is slow in disolving
and can therefore cause corosion on the bottom of the recipient.
Fine salt (less than 3mm) should be used; if it is not available it is
advisable to pre-dissolve it in a seperate pot.
• When not in use the cooker lid should remain open.
• Frequently dismantle and clean the safety valve positioned on
the lid.
5. WARNINGS
• Do not wash the appliance using direct high-pressure water
jets, any infiltration of water on the internal components can
cause damage and can be dangerous.
• Do not use products which contain clorine (bleach,
hydrochloric acid, etc) for cleaning the steel, even if diluted.
• Do not use corrosive substances (e.g. muriatic acid) to clean
floor around the appliance.
• It is not permitted to modify the aeration capacity required
for gas combustion.
• The appliance is made more than 90% of metal materials
(stainless steel, aluminized steel, copper); these materials
can be recycled through the conventional recycling facilities,
in compli-ance with the applicable standards in each country.
• The appliance to be scrapped must be made unworkable.
Also remove the lid, to avoid the possibility of anyone
remaining locked inside the tank.
