6. USB-ScanSoft software
Function
Basic settings
The measurement type and unit must be set in advance.
Under "Measuring" pressure rel. or pressure abs. can be selected.
■
For the units, mbar, bar or psi can be selected.
■
In order for a data logging to take place, "Use channel in data logging" must always be set to
active.
Here you determine the intervals at which measured values are to be recorded.

The value to be recorded (measured value, min. peak, max. peak) can
be selected.
Cycle time > 5 ms
A complete data set containing the following measured values is always
recorded:
Current pressure at the time of data transfer

Minimum pressure (min. peak) in the period of the last cycle time
■
Maximum pressure (max. peak) in the period of the last cycle time
■
Mean value of the pressure over the period of the last cycle time
■
The following must be observed:
For a cycle time of ≥ 5 ms, all measuring channels are automatically
selected. In this case, a direct selection is no longer possible!
Offset correction can be applied to the measurement:
Displayed value = measured value – offset
The offset correction, together with the slope correction (see above), is
mainly used for the adjustment of sensor deviations.
The offset information is stored in the sensor, so it can be made
separately for each sensor.
The slope of the measurement can be influenced by this factor (factor is
in %):
Displayed value = measured value * (1 + scale / 100)
