N N o o t t e e - - The Fowler angle must be less than or equal to 60° for turn assist to operate.
To activate turn assist:
1. Position the patient on the center of the product.
2. Raise and lock the siderails in the full up position ( Raising the siderails (page 29)).
3. On the H H o o m m e e screen, press the T T u u r r n n button (B) ( Footboard control panel, advanced - Home option (page 45)).
4. On the T T u u r r n n screen, select the turn assist side (C, D) ( Footboard control panel, advanced - Turn option (page 35)).
5. Select the 15 seconds, 30 minutes, or 120 minutes hold time (E) ( Footboard control panel, advanced - Turn option
(page 35)).
6. Press the S S t t a a r r t t button (F) to start turn assist ( Footboard control panel, advanced - Turn option (page 35)).
To cancel or stop turn assist, press the button in the status bar (H) when it appears ( Footboard control panel, advanced -
Turn option (page 35)).

The P P u u l l m m o o n n a a r r y y screen displays the pulmonary functions of the product.
