• Only use hospital grade electric equipment consuming 5A or less with the auxiliary outlet. The use of standard electric
equipment may bring the current leakage to a level unacceptable for hospital equipment.
• Do not use the auxiliary outlet for life sustaining equipment.
The auxiliary outlet is a built-in outlet for peripheral equipment. The auxiliary outlet (J) is at the foot end of the product
( Product illustration (page 13)).
N N o o t t e e - - Resettable circuit breakers at the head end of the product protect the auxiliary outlet.

N N o o t t e e - - The USB port is designed to accommodate devices that comply with the appropriate standards (i.e. IEC 60601-1,
IEC 60950) and rated for a maximum of 5Vdc.
The USB port is a built-in port for patient devices. The USB port is located in the patient device holder (C) on the patient left
siderail ( Product illustration (page 13)).

The I I s s o o l l i i b b r r i i u u m m PE is a powered support surface with features that provide pressure redistribution, low air loss, turn assist,
max inflate, and lateral rotation.

When the I I s s o o l l i i b b r r i i u u m m PE support surface is connected to P P r r o o C C u u i i t t y y , active functions are displayed at the top of the H H o o m m e e

To prepare I I s s o o l l i i b b r r i i u u m m PE for a new patient:
1. Before you place a patient on the product, zero/tare the scale ( Zeroing/taring the scale, advanced option (page 52)).
2. Position the patient on the product.

3. Weigh and save the patient weight ( Weighing a patient, advanced option (page 52)).

adjust the P P a a t t i i e e n n t t W W e e i i g g h h t t R R a a n n g g e e (J) on the P P r r e e s s s s u u r r e e screen ( Footboard control panel, advanced - Pressure option
(page 34)).
