Replacing the scraper
The scrapers are needed to keep the earth off the area of
contact between the idler roller and the rod conveyor.
Carry out the operations described.
1) Undo the screws (A).
2) Remove the small plate (B).
3)
Remove the scraper (C).
4)
Position the new scraper.
5)
Position the plate (B).
6)
Tighten the screws (A).
7)
Repeat the same procedure to replace the other
scrapers.
Replacing the upper conveyor slider
Carry out the operations described.
1) Unscrew the nuts (A).
2) Remove the screws (B).
3) Remove the washers (C).
4) Remove the slider (D).
5) Position the new slider.
6) Position the washers (C).
7) Insert the screws (B).
8) Tighten the nuts (A).
9) Repeat the same procedure to replace the other up-
per conveyer.
Replacing the compactor roller scraper
Carry out the operations described.
1) Undo the screws (A).
2) Remove the scraper (B).
3) Position the new scraper.
4) Tighten the screws (A) lightly.
5) Adjust the scraper (see "Adjusting the compactor
roller scraper").
6) Tighten the screws (A).
