10.14 Button for the "AUX1" control channel

Use the "AUX1" button (fig. 1, no. 6) to control an additional function. Holding down the button activates the corre-
sponding receiver output (see fig. 2, item B).
You may use this button for a separate brake servo of a disc brake in a larger model vehicle. The disc brake is en-
gaged as long as you keep the button pressed.

10.15 Slide switch for the control channel "AUX2"

Use the "AUX2" slide switch (fig. 1, no. 5) on the transmitter to activate additional functions; the switch has 3 different
positions.
For example, you can use it to control additional lighting or a sound system in the vehicle at the corresponding receiver
output (see fig. 2, no. A).

11 Receiver gyro function

The receiver has an integrated gyro. It acts on the steering servo output so that the vehicle is automatically counter-
steered if its rear gets out of control. You can select 8 different sensitivity levels for the gyro or switch it off.

11.1 Switching the gyro function on/off

Please note:
The receiver gyro comes already switched on upon delivery.
Proceed as follows:
First, disconnect the receiver from the voltage/power supply and switch off the model vehicle.

Switch off the transmitter.

Place the vehicle on a stable surface so that the wheels can turn freely.

Caution!
During switchover, the motor starts up briefly. Do not reach into the drive. Do not hold the wheels.
The flashing receiver LED indicates whether the gyro is activated or not. You can also use a function test de-

scribed below to determine whether the gyro is enabled or disabled.
Switch on the transmitter and then the vehicle (speed controller or receiver power supply). Wait until the vehicle

is ready for operation and responds correctly to the transmitter control signals (steering/drive function; adjust the
trim for the drive function if necessary).
Release the throttle lever and the knob for the steering function on the transmitter so that they are in the middle

(neutral) position.
Press the "BIND" button on the transmitter three times quickly (see fig. 1, no. 3) to switch the receiver gyro on

or off.
The receiver output for the drive function is briefly activated (for electric vehicles, the motor will start briefly; for
combustion engine vehicles, the throttle servo will deflect briefly). The flashing receiver LED indicates the current
status:
– LED flashes once: Gyro is disabled
– LED flashes three times: Gyro is enabled
