V-Ring wechseln
Für den Einbau des
V-Ringes das Einzieh-
werkzeug (Sach-Nr. 229-
109.88) verwenden.
HINWEIS
V-Ringe ohne Fett einset-
zen. Als Montagehilfe mit
Haushaltsspülmittel
(1 Tropfen/1 l) entspann-
tes Wasser benutzen.
Damit kein fremder Rost
aufgetragen wird, muss
die Spülmittellösung in
Keramik-, Kunststoff-
oder Edelstahlbehältern
angesetzt werden.
V-Ring vor der Montage
an der produktabgewand-
ten (rückwärtigen) Seite
leicht benetzen. Darauf
achten, dass kein Wasser
in die V-Ring-Nut des
Ventiltellers gelangt.
VORSICHT
Einbaulage des V-Ringes
beachten (s. Abb.).
• V-Ring einlegen.
(s. Abb.).
• Mit dem V-Ring-Ein-
ziehwerkzeug den
V-Ring eindrücken – an
gegenüberliegenden
Stellen mehrmals
gleichmäßig über den
Umfang verteilt.
• V-Ringe gleichmäßig
einziehen.

Changing the V-ring
Use the insertion tool
(part no. 229-109.88) to
mount the new V-ring.
NOTE
Do not grease the V-ring
before inserting it. We rec-
ommend using water
with household washing-
up liquid (1 drop/1 l) as
an aid to inserting V-
rings. In order to prevent
oxidation from infiltra-
tion, prepare the liquid
solution in a ceramic,
plastic or stainless steel
container.
Before inserting the V-ring
wet it a little on the back
(side not in contact with
the product). Take care
that water does not enter
the seal groove in the
valve disk.
CAUTION
Observe the required
installation position of the
V-ring.
• Insert the V-ring
(see illstr.).
• By use of the V-ring
inser tion tool, press the
V-ring into the groove at
several opposite places
along the circumference.
• Insert the V-ring evenly
into position.
