Mounting with tension/compression bars
In this mounting variant, the transducer is mounted with tension/compression bars on a
construction element and can then be measured in the tensile and compressive direc
tions. Alternating loads are also correctly recorded if the transducer is mounted without
axial play. For dynamic alternating loads, the upper and lower threaded connectors must
be pre-stressed to above the maximum operating load and then locked in place.
1. Installation and locking with initial stress (recommended mounting variant):
-
Screw in the threaded connector
-
Pre-stress transducer to 110 % operating load in tensile direction
-
Hand-tighten the locknut
-
Unload the transducer
2. Installation and locking with torque
-
Screw in the threaded connector
-
Tighten the locknut to the following torques:
Nominal (rated) force in kN
0.5 ... 1
2 ... 10
