screwed directly onto a construction element or suitable substructure. The force trans­
ducer measures static and dynamic compressive forces, and can be used at full oscilla­
tion width (peak-to-peak).
The substructure must be capable of absorbing the force to be measured. Remember
that the rigidity of the overall system depends on the stiffness of the force application
part and the substructure. Please also note that the substructure must compel the force
to always be applied to the transducer vertically, i.e. there must be no inclination, even
under full load.
Force is applied to the convex load button (1-U1R/200kg/ZL1-U1R/200kg/ZL,
3-9202.0140, 1-ZLM24F) on the top of the force transducer.
Install the load button with a minimum tightening torque of 10 Nm. We recommend using
our thrust pieces (1-EDO3/1kN, 1-EDO4/50kN) to guarantee ideal force application. These
thrust pieces, which are placed on the convex load button, have a suitable surface quality.
If you want to do without a thrust piece, please note that the surface of the structural
component that applies the force to the convex load application part must be ground and
have a minimum hardness of 40 HRC.
