7 Operation

Electric shock if contact is made with live parts
Live parts can cause fatal electric shocks.
► Close all control boxes and housings tightly before operation.
Shortness of breath and poisoning caused by inhaling phosgene gas
When welding workpieces that have been degreased with chlorinated solvents, toxic phosgene gas is
formed. It can damage the respiratory tract when inhaled.
► Do not inhale smoke and vapors.
► Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
► Ensure a sufficient supply of fresh air.
► Rinse workpieces with clean water prior to welding.
► Do not place degreasing baths containing chlorine in the vicinity of the welding area.
Risk of burns due to sparks
During welding, sparks, glowing workpieces or hot slag can produce flames. This poses a risk of burns.
► Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
► Check the work area for flashpoints.
► Provide appropriate fire extinguishing equipment in the workplace.
► Allow workpieces to cool down after welding.

Enter the desired parameters in the input fields.

Choose the <Save> button and transfer the

program data from the PC to the device.
Choose the <Close> button and disconnect the

connection between the PC and the device.
The <Read File> button imports a configuration
saved on the PC to the software.
The <Write File> button saves a software-created
configuration as a file to the PC.
The <Config> button enables additional parameter
settings. If the <Config> button is not available,
contact Support.
The figure shows setting options in the <Config>
subitem.
