6.3 Mounting the welding torch – Z axis
Risk of injury due to improper mounting
Improper mounting can cause the device to tip or fall over. This may result in serious injuries.
► Place the device on a suitable base (flat, solid, dry) on which it will not topple over.
A position change of the welding torch is only possible in service or maintenance mode. The welding torch
can be fixed in two precisely defined positions on the Z axis:

Required tool:

Loosen the screws (2× M3) using the Allen key

(AF2.5) and remove the cover.
Loosen the (M12) screw on the power fitting

using the Allen key (AF8).
Fix the power fitting cable lug with screw (M12).

Connect the gas hose to the gas supply nozzle

and fix it in place with a hose clip.
Put on the cover and fix it with screws.

Connect the power cable to the power source

and the gas hose to the gas supply.
 Observe the operating instructions for the power
source.
