6.12.1 System requirements

— Operating system: Windows 7 (32/64 bit or higher)
— Processor: 1 GHz
— Main memory: 256 MB RAM
— Memory: >10 MB
— Connections: USB 2.1 type A or higher

6.12.2 Setting up the software for the first time

Do not save the software on a network drive.
Angle of position sensor to the longitudinal axis of the welding torch

6 Commissioning
Open folder 02_PARAMETER EDIT on USB stick

(ABI_EDIT).
Copy the software (ABI_EDIT.exe, ABI.ini) to

any folder on the PC.
Connect the USB programming cable to the PC.

The driver is installed automatically. Insert the
supplied driver CD if required and install the
software.
Connect the RS-232 programming cable to

the remote control.
Switch on the device at the On/Off switch.

The LED illuminates.
