2.10 Additional hazards when used as intended during normal operation
WARNING
Risk of injury due to machine movements
There is an immediate risk of injury in the area in which the machine is operated.
• Ensure that no one is in this area when the machine is in motion.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to falling welding tractor
There is a risk of extremely critical injuries if the welding tractor falls once it reaches the end of a workpiece.
• Never operate the welding tractor unattended.
• Stop the welding tractor at the edge just before it reaches the end of the workpiece. To do so, press the
STOP button (3), Fig. 15.
• Operation of the welding tractor on inclined or vertical surfaces is permitted only with a guide rail system, which can
be purchased separately. A safety device to prevent falling must also be present.
NOTICE
• The ABI-CAR E-1200 / E-1200-O welding tractors are not suitable for TIG welding.
