NGINE ROTECTION ODULE
An engine protection module is incorporated in the
electric panel for automatic engine protection in the
event that one of the problems listed below occur during
operation.

Preheating "GLOW PLUG"
During the winter periods, when the environment tempe-
rature is lower than 5°C, we recommend to perform a
preheating before to start the generating set.
- rotate the key (ref.1) anticlockwise in position "GLOW
PLUG", keeping it in that position for a maximum of 20
sec.
- "Batt" Light 2 - Battery charger failure
When on (red) it signals that there is a failure in the
battery charger system
- "Oil" light 3 - low oil pressure protection
When on (red) it signals insufficient engine oil pressure.
Fill up with oil in order to restart the generator.
The low oil pressure protection does not give an
indication of the oil level. The oil level must
periodically be checked in order to prevent
damage to the engine.
- Light 4 - High engine temperature protection
(red) switches off the generator when the engine
operating temperature is too high. The generator may
only be restarted after having identified and removed
the cause of the fault.
