8.18 Replacing the gasket of the
w orking chamber door
When the gasket of the working chamber door is worn,
it needs to be replaced. The respective spare part can
be obtained from customer service. The spare part
consists of the gasket and double-sided adhesive tape.
1. Open the working chamber door.
2. Carefully remove the gasket (marked orange) from
the groove (marked blue) on the inner side of the
working chamber door. Use a flat blunt tool.

3. Thoroughly clean the groove in the working cham-
ber door with an alcohol based cleaning agent.
Ensure that the groove is dry and without any
residues.
4. To attach the spare gasket to the working chamber
door, do the following:
It is important that you place the adhesive
tape and gasket exactly in the groove of the
working chamber door and that the gasket
fits tightly. Otherwise the working chamber
door may not open / close properly or
liquid may leak during processing.
a. Carefully attach the adhesive tape in the
groove of the working chamber door.
b. Remove the protective film from the adhesive
tape.
c. Carefully attach the gasket (marked orange)
along one side of the groove, pull it over the
window frame and attach it along the other
sides of the groove. Ensure that the gasket fits
tightly.

5. Check if the working chamber door opens and
closes properly.
6. If necessary: Try to adjust the placement of the gas-
ket or repeat the previous steps with new adhesive
tape.
7. Close the working chamber door.
