19. Close the working chamber door.
20. Clean the nozzle plate.

8.8 Cleaning the nozzle plate

You should clean the holes in the nozzle plate every
time you clean the collet chuck.
1. Have the interdental brush ready.
2. Open DENTALCNC's general application
settings with the depicted icon in the
main icon bar.
3. Open the Machine parameters view with
the depicted icon in the local icon bar.
4. Move the axes into the tool
change position by selecting
the depicted icon in the Machin-
ing view in DENTALCNC.
5. Open the working chamber door.
6. Clean the smaller holes in the inner area of the
nozzle plate. For this, move the interdental brush
up and down.
If necessary, apply some water with a cleaning
agent and let it sit for some minutes.

8.9 Cleaning the cooling liquid sys-
tem
If the flow rate of the cooling liquid isn't sufficient or
the corresponding interval in the maintenance table
has been exceeded, you must clean the cooling liquid
system.
The task consist of the following automated processes:

If you clean the cooling liquid system incorrectly, the
machine, blanks and tools will be damaged.
Only use Tec Powder from vhf to clean the cooling
liquid system.
Carefully follow the instructions below.
Tec Powder is available from customer service.
1. Start DENTALCNC.
2. Open the Maintenance section window with the fol-
lowing icon in the main icon  bar: 
3. Select the Cleaning the cooling liquid system main-
tenance task.
4. Confirm the current message.
The on-screen guide displays.
5. Open the working chamber door.
6. Open the cooling liquid drawer.
7. Remove the following items from the working
chamber:
Any blank and holder
n
The tool magazine
n
8. Perform a weekly cleaning of the working chamber.

9. Empty and clean the cooling liquid tank.
10. Fill 2  l (2.1  qt) of drinking water without cooling lub-
ricant into the tank.
11. Add 50  g Tec Powder to the water. Stir the water
until the powder is completely dissolved.
12. Insert the tank into the machine.
13. Close the cooling liquid drawer.
14. Close the working chamber door.
