4 • Mounting the fixed part of the side channel
4.1 • Pre-drilling and securing the fixed part of the side channel

Unpack the side channels.
Dismount the side channels
(fixed and removable parts)
and take the uPVC zipper
out of the side channels.
Store the uPVC zipper in
a clean place, to avoid
damage.

Put the fixed part of the side
channel against the window
profile. Mount the side chan-
nel onto the window frame
or wall.

The fixed parts of the side
channels are not pre-drilled.
You need to drill the fixed
side channel yourself, using
the pre-determined drill line.
Use a 5 mm ø drill.

The top edge of the side
channel must be levelled with
the top edge of the window
frame.

The first hole must be
drilled 125 mm from the
topside. Then successive
holes should be
drilled every
250 mm.

Check the overall size,
including the side channels.
This size must exactly match
the width of the
box.
