5.2.2 • Securing the box laterally

• First secure the box on the sides at the pre-determined positi-
ons with the supplied screws (24 DIN 7981 3.9 x 38). Push
the box towards the outside during fitting to make certain it is
properly positioned.
• On each end cap, there are codes to show the screw positi-
ons per model (S = Small / M = Medium / L = Large / XL =
Extra Large / XXL = Extra, Extra Large)

• Work outwards from the inside.
• Place the box on the window, slightly angled to the rear – the
bottom bar must therefore be placed over the window and
suspended on the outside.
• When necessary, slide the box left or right so that the end
caps are outside the mounting profile.
• Push the box softly towards the outside so the end cap pins
drop into the side channels so that the box profiling clamps
the mounting profile.

• In case of installation in a soffit (a recess above previously in-
stalled windows), the box cannot be secured to the mounting
profile through the end caps. In this situation, the end caps
must be secured to the inside of the base profile with two
plastic fittings.
This solution must be mentioned on the order.
