Cleaning
Flush gun and clean paint off the outside after each work shift.
Store in a dry location. Refer to your sprayer manual for flushing
instructions.
NOTE:
In order to prevent any damage to the gun parts, do not leave
either the gun or any other parts in water or solvent cleaning
agents. The gun CANNOT tolerate any strong cleaning agents,
such as cleaning agents containing dichloromethane.

Maintenance and care

In order to avoid injury, please read all warning notice in this ope-
rating manual and in the sprayer instruction manual before per-
forming maintenance work.
Clean/replace filter
1. Perform the pressure relief procedure and engage the trigger
lock.
2. Disconnect the fluid hose from the gun swivel joint.
3. Open the protective clip on the trigger.
4. Unscrew the gun handle.
5. Remove the filter through the top of the handle.
6. Clean filter. Loosen and remove severe deposits with a soft
brush.
7. If the filter can no longer be sufficiently cleaned, insert a new
filter.
8. Reattach the handle to the gun. Tighten well by hand.
9. Reattach the protective clip on the trigger.

Repairs
In order to injury to persons, please read all warning notice in this
operating manual and in the sprayer instruction manual before
performing repair work.
Replace needle
1. Perform the pressure relief procedure, engage the trigger lock.
2. Remove the hose and tip guard.
3. Disengage gun trigger lock.
4. squeeze the gun trigger. Remove needle seat (1a).
5. Remove the counter nut (1c) and end cap (8).
6. Knock the needle out to the front using a plastic hammer.
7. Clean the gun's internal channels with a soft brush.
8. Lubricate o-rings of new needle with silicon-free grease.
9. Insert the new needle with the thread first into the spray gun
from the front.
10. Attach the counter nut and end cap loosely.
11. Apply a medium-strength (blue) sealant to the thread on the
needle seat.
12. Pull the trigger when installing the needle housing. Apply a
torque of 35 - 43 Nm.
13. Perform needle adjustment.
