Setup
Pressure relief
Observe the pressure relief procedure if you see this
symbol.
This equipment stays pressurized until pressure is manually relie-
ved. To help prevent serious injury from pressurized fluid, such as
skin injection or splashed fluid, follow the Pressure Relief Proce-
dure whenever sprayer is stopped and before sprayer is cleaned
or checked, and before equipment is serviced.
1. Turn sprayer OFF.
2. Engage the trigger lock. Always engage the trigger lock
when sprayer is stopped to prevent the gun from being triggered
accidentally.
3. Turn pressure control knob to lowest setting.
4. Put drain tube into a waste pail and turn Prime/Spray valve in
PRIME position (drain) to relieve pressure.
5. Hold the gun firmly to a pail. Point gun into pail. Disengage
the trigger lock and trigger the gun to relieve pressure.
6. Engage the trigger lock.
7. If you suspect the spray tip or hose is clogged or that pressure
has not been fully relieved:
a. VERY SLOWLY loosen the tip guard retaining nut or the hose
end coupling to relieve pressure gradually.
b. Loosen the nut or coupling completely.
c. Clear airless hose or spray tip obstruction.

Gun Trigger Lock
To prevent injury when the gun is not in use, always engage the
gun's trigger lock if unit is being shut down or left unattended.
Trigger
It is easy to convert the gun from a 4-finger trigger to a 2-fin-
ger trigger. Select the trigger for your preferred handling. How to
replace the trigger:
1. Perform Pressure Relief Procedure.
2. Unlock the protective clip for the gun trigger.
3. Swivel the protective clip to the side.
4. Unscrew the retaining nut from the gun trigger axle bolt, bolt
from the gun housing.
5. Remove trigger.
6. Fit the other trigger in the reverse order.
Connect the gun to the sprayer
Make sure the sprayer is switched off and disconnected from the
socket. Refer to the sprayer's operating instructions for informati-
on regarding priming and spraying.
1. Attach the Airless hose to the sprayer's material outlet.
2. Attach the other end of the Airless hose to the gun swivel
joint. Securely tighten all connections with two spanners (one on
the swivel joint and one on the hose).
Affixing the nozzle and tip guard
To avoid serious injury from skin injection do not put your hand
in front of the spray tip when installing or removing the spray tip
and tip guard.
In order to avoid leakages on the spray tips, make sure that the
spray tip and tip guard are correctly installed.
1. Follow pressure relief procedure.
2. Engage the trigger lock.
3. Make sure that the spray tips and the tip guard are assembled
in the order pictured.
