7. Maintenance, cleaning and recalibration
This does not apply to the battery replacement.
Only use original parts (see chapter 10 "Accessories").
Battery replacement

If bAt is flashing in the display, then the battery has been drained. For a short time,
further measurements can still be made. If only
has been completely drained and must be exchanged. Measurement is no longer
possible.
1. Unscrew the three cross-head screws on the rear of the
instrument.
2. Lie the instrument, still closed, so that the display remains
visible. During the entire battery change, the instrument must
be left in this way. This will prevent the sealing rings in the
screw holes from falling out.

4. Lift off the upper half of the case. Take particular care with the
six function buttons so as not to damage them.
5. Change both batteries (type: AAA) carefully. Take care of the
polarity of the batteries.
6. Place the upper part of the case back and, in doing so, be
careful that it is placed cleanly, otherwise the sealing may be damaged. Subsequently,
press both parts of the case back together.
