Physical injuries and damage to property and the environment
caused by hazardous media
Upon contact with hazardous media (e.g. oxygen, acetylene, flammable
or toxic substances), harmful media (e.g. corrosive, toxic, carcinogenic,
radioactive), and also with refrigeration plants and compressors, there is a
danger of physical injuries and damage to property and the environment.
Should a failure occur, aggressive media with extremely high temperature
and under high pressure or vacuum may be present at the pressure sensor.
For these media, in addition to all standard regulations, the appropriate
existing codes or regulations must also be followed.
Wear the requisite protective equipment.

Connected sensor or instrument is
defective.
Reading is significantly above or
below the measuring range
Cable break
Battery is empty
Mains supply operation: Incorrect
voltage/polarity

Remedy
Switch instrument off and connect
sensor
Test the instrument with a 2nd sensor,
if available - return any defective
sensor or instrument for repair.
Check: Is the pressure within the
permissible measuring range of the
sensor?
Visually check the continuity of the
cable.
If there is any damage to the cable,
replace it with a new one.
Replace battery
Check / exchange power supply unit
Disconnect battery and power supply
unit, wait a short while, reconnect.
Send in for repair
