5.6 INTERRUPTION OF THE OPERATION

5.6.1 Interruption of the operation (only KE Classic)

By releasing the lever (30) of the water gun, the water cleaner passes to the by-pass operation and
remains in this state until the lever (30) is pressed again.
WARNING
• Do not leave the water cleaner in by-pass (water gun closed) for more than three minutes.

5.6.2 Interruption of the operation with TOTAL STOP (only KE Super and KE Xtra)

By releasing the lever (30) of the water gun, the water cleaner passes to the by-pass operation.
After approx. 15 seconds of by-pass operation, the water cleaner stops automatically. The pilot light
(13) switches on and the display (7) visualises the symbol "FL00" (only KE Xtra).
The water cleaner restarts to operate regularly when the water gun is pressed again.

5.6.3 Total Stop function (only KE Xtra)

If the water gun remains closed for more than 15 minutes, the water cleaner turns off completely
and the display (7) visualises the symbol "STOP". In this condition, to restart working, set the main
switch (1) in position "0" and then again in position "1".

• When the water cleaner reaches the TOTAL STOP condition, it is necessary to lock the
water gun lever by means of the lock (27) to avoid that this is activated accidentally (see
also Fig. 1).

6. STOPPING AND WINTER DECOMMISSIONING

6.1 STOPPING

• Run the water cleaner for some minutes with cold water.
• Completely close the water supply tap.
• Empty the water cleaner by running it for some seconds by pressing the lever (30) of the water gun.
• Press the main switch (1) in position "0".
• Remove the supply plug from the socket.
• Eliminate the possible residual pressure remained in the high-pressure pipe (29) by keeping
pressed for some seconds the lever (30) of the water gun.
• Wait that the water cleaner has cooled down.

• When the water cleaner is cooled down, make sure that:
- the water cleaner is abandoned in the presence of children, elders or disabled people without
control;
- the water cleaner is placed in a stable position without the danger of falls;
- the water cleaner is not put into contact or near inflammable materials.
6.2 WINTER DECOMMISSIONING
• Wind the high-pressure hose (20) with care, avoiding bending and hang it on the suitable sup-
port (20).
• Wind the power supply cable (35) with care and hang it on the suitable support (20).
