• During the operation, do not cover the water cleaner and do not locate it where ventila-
tion is poor; never cover the boiler outlet gas opening.
• When you use the water cleaner in closed rooms, make sure that the outlet gases are
evacuated in the suitable way and that a correct ventilation is ensured (danger of intoxi-
cation).
• Never bend of the outlet gas opening, nor touch it with the hands (danger of burns).

5.1 PRELIMINARY CHECKS

• Completely unwind the high-pressure hose (29).
• Fix to the water suction connector Ø 19 mm (24) a supplying hose by tightening with a suitable
collar clamp. Open the water supply tap by making sure that there are no dropping. Operation E of
Fig. 4.
• Make sure that the detergent adjusting knob (11) is completely closed (see also the paragraph
"Operation with detergent").
• Make sure that the main switch (1) is in the tuned-off position (position "0") and insert the plug
in the socket. Operation F of Fig. 4.
• Fill the tank (19) with calcareous deposit inhibitor (or water if you do not have it) (see also the
paragraph "Operation with inhibitor for calcareous deposits") (only KE Super and KE Xtra).
• Rotate the main switch (1) on the control panel in position "1". The pilot light (8) switches on
(only KE Super and KE Xtra), that is to say that the display (7) shows the symbol "FL00"
(only KE Xtra).
• Press the lever (30) of the water gun and wait that a continuous water jet comes out. When
water comes out from the gun, the display visualises the symbol "----" (the symbol "FL00" is
visualised only in the absence of water outlet) (only KE Xtra).
• Set the main switch (1) on the control panel in position "0" and connect the lance hose (32) to
the water gun (31). Operation G of Fig. 4.
• Start the water cleaner once again by rotating the main switch (1) to position "1" on the control
panel. Check that the jet of the nozzle is uniform and that there is no dripping.
• Switch off the water cleaner by rotating the main switch (1) in position "0".

5.2 OPERATION WITH COLD WATER

Bring the temperature adjusting knob (2) in position "0" (only KE Classic and KE Super).

• Set the main switch (1) on the control panel in position "1".
• Activate the lever (30) of the water gun and start the washing operations.
• If necessary, adjust the pressure by acting on the pressure adjusting knob (10). Rotate the knob
in clockwise direction to increase the pressure; rotate the knob in counterclockwise direction
to decrease the pressure.
Note: the pilot light (9) remains switched on also during the operation with cold water if the
level of the gas oil in the tank is lower than the minimum.

5.3 OPERATION WITH HOT WATER

• Fill the tank with gas oil for self-traction.
WARNING
• The use of agricultural gas oil for heating or dirty gas oil determines excessive deposits on the
burner, thus compromising its good operation.
• Set the main switch (1) on the control panel in position "1".
• Rotate the temperature adjusting knob (2) in position "1" for some second, then select the
