6.8 Only for Genium: preparing the charging unit
Complete the following steps to assemble the charging unit for the Genium:

2) Cut off the sheath at the top with an over­
hang of 6 cm.
3) Secure the sheath on the inside all around
on the proximal end of the foam with con­
tact adhesive.
INFORMATION: Note the setting time
of the contact adhesive depending on
the application thickness and temper­
ature.
4) Fold over the distal end of the sheath and
slide it into the recesses of the tube
adapter.
INFORMATION: The sheath must not be
glued or cut off in the ankle area.
5) Punch the 4 holes for the tube adapter
screws in the sheath as well.
INFORMATION: Before punching, apply
contact adhesive to the corresponding
areas to prevent runs in the sheath.
