1) Check the alignment of the actuator stirrup
(the screw was already loosened while
checking for collisions).
INFORMATION: The stirrup points up,
the wing points down.
2) Assemble the functional knee part on the
joint.
INFORMATION: Verify the form fit of
the functional knee part on the joint.
3) Secure the position of the functional knee
part with the Allen key size 2.
→ If securing with the Allen key is no
longer possible due to processing, the
correct position of the upper knee part
has to be verified with the help of the
functional shank. To do so, insert the
joint into the functional shank. The
upper knee part has to be flush with
the edge of the functional shank.
4) Bring the joint to full extension.
INFORMATION:
extender has to be used with the C-Leg.
5) Hand-tighten the cable tie.
→ This causes the actuator stirrup to lie
against the installed adapter.
→ The upper knee part is held in its posi­
tion by the Allen key.
6) Verify the proper fit of the cable tie.
7) Hand-tighten the two screws on the func­
tional knee part using two fingers.
8) Check the position of the end of the actuat­
or stirrup.
INFORMATION: The end of the actuator
stirrup has to be flush with the face
end of the circular recess in the func­
tional knee part.
9) Remove the Allen key and knee extender
(C-Leg).
10) Trim the cable tie.
→ When flexing the knee joint, the upper
knee part moves noiselessly with the sock­
et.
The 4H105 knee
