3. Make sure that the cot is secured into both fasteners before you release your grip on the cot (Figure 14).

with a strong spring action.
1. Press down on the foot pedal until the locking mechanism releases the cot (Figure 15).

2. Remove the cot from the fastener and roll the cot out of the vehicle patient compartment (Figure 16).
