3. Repeat steps 1-2 to attach the track mounted fastener (Unwin adaptor) to the head end fastener lock down plate.

4. Identify the location for the foot end fastener and head end fastener from Figure 10 for Model 6386 and Figure 11 for
Model 6387.
N N o o t t e e - - The black arrow on the track mounted fastener (Unwin adaptor) points toward the front of the ambulance.
5. Unlock the plunger on the track mounted fastener (Unwin adaptor) (R) of the foot end fastener (T) by turning it counter-
clockwise (Figure 7).
6. Disengage the plunger (S) by lifting up with the plunger key and turning the plunger one-half of a revolution (Figure 7).
7. Align the foot end fastener in the floor track.
8. Engage the plunger (S) and lock the track mounted fastener (Unwin adaptor) (R) to the floor track by turning the plunger
key clockwise (Figure 7).
9. Repeat steps 5-8 to install the head end fastener to the floor track (Figure 8).
10. Make sure that the fastener spacing matches Figure 6.
11. Loosen the four screws on either side of the fastener that attach the locks into the lock down base plate.
