The purpose of the corner is to cover any space which is created in the

40 detail 1) Set the top on the gaskets of the profiles of the
wall-mounted glass panels (or on the "L"-shaped profiles) and secure
them to the supports with the eccentrics and screws indicated.
If it is necessary, turn the cams so that the slot lines up with the
holes in the supports.
(det. 2 and 3) Further secure the top with the indicated screws.
Before the unit is finally placed at the user's disposal, it is ad-
visable to carry out a demonstration cycle for all functions in
the presence of the user and to explain the required routine
maintenance tasks and their frequency.

Electrical safety

Jacuzzi ® PLAY TT shower enclosures are safe appliances, manufac-
tured in compliance with standards CEI EN 60335-1, CEI EN 60335-
2-105; EN 61000; EN 55014 and are approved by the SIQ Certi-
fying Institute. These are tested during production to guarantee
user safety.
It is the responsibility of the installer to select materials based
on their intended use, to carry out work correctly, to check
the condition of the system that the unit is to be connected
to so that it ensures user safety.
Jacuzzi ® PLAY TT shower enclosures are Class "I" appliances, and must
be anchored securely and connected permanently, without any inter-
mediate connections, to the electric network and earth system.
The electric system and earth system of the building must
be in working order and must comply with the legal pro-
visions and specific regulations in force in that country.
For connection to the electric mains, it is necessary to install a dis-
connecting multiple-pole switch, and place it in an area that com-
plies with the safety prescriptions for bathrooms. This standard mul-
tiple-pole switch must guarantee a contact opening of at least 3mm,
and be suitable for voltages of 220-240V and currents up to 16A.
The switch and other electrical devices must be located,
in compliance with regulations, in an area that cannot be
reached by the person using the appliance.
The installation of electrical devices and appliances (sockets, switch-
es, etc.) in bathrooms must comply with the legal requirements
and standards of the country concerned. In particular, no electri-
cal installation is permitted within 60 cm of the shower enclosure
or at a height of less than 225 cm.

Connection to the electrical system of the building must be made
using a sheathed cable with characteristics not inferior to H 05 VV-
F 3x2.5 mm 2 .
The electric system of the building must be equipped
with a 0.03 A differential switch.

Jacuzzi PLAY shower enclosures are equipped with a connection
terminal, positioned in the upper part of the column, marked with
the symbol , for equipotential connection of surrounding met-
al parts, as required by CEI EN 60335-2-105 norms; we recom-
mend that the relevant connection cable comes out near the pow-
er cord and that of the alarm, if any (

If installation is carried out by unqualified personnel and/or personnel
unauthorized to carry out installation.
If the norms and legal provisions, regarding the electric systems of
buildings, in force in the country in which installation is carried out are
not complied with.
If the instructions for installation and maintenance contained in this
manual are not followed.
If unsuitable and/or uncertified materials are used for installation.
If the shower enclosures are set up to work without conforming to the
aforesaid regulations.
If incorrect operations are performed that reduce the level of protection
of the electrical equipment against water jets, modify the protection a-
gainst electrocution due to direct or indirect contact, or produce ab-
normal conditions of insulation, current leakage or overheating.
If any components or parts of the appliance are altered in relation to the
original state when supplied, releasing the Manufacturer from any li-
ability.
If the appliance is repaired by unauthorised personnel or if spare parts
are used other than the original ones supplied by Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A.
