Important Hints on making Rice Wine
• Attention: Rice wine is fermented by anaerobic bacteria, so the container must be sealed
during making;
• Microcomputer controlled yogurt maker reminds the completion of making with a tone,
and the screen still shows 00, but the operation has stopped.

Detailed Procedure
1. Prepare devices: Disinfect glasses, gauze and chopsticks, etc. with boiling water.
2. Select grapes: The grapes for brewing must be fully ripe. Any green or rotten grapes
are removed. Dark purple and ripe grapes are selected, as the color of grades decides
the color of wine.
3. Wash grapes: Cut down grapes one by one from the clusters with a pair of scissors (do
not damage their skin). Wash them for several times and them immerse them in clean
water for about 2h. It is recommended not to remove the white powder on the skin of
grades, which is actually a kind of natural ferment. After washing, dry grades in air.
4. Fill into glasses: Squeeze clean grapes with hands or shatter them in a juice machine.
Place the shattered grapes into the container as well as wine starter. Use the gauze to
seal the opening and place the container into the main body, so cover is not needed.
(Normally, place 1g distiller's yeast in 1,250g grades)
5. Set the time of fermentation, plug in, perform fermentation for 7d×24h, use the Set key
to select the function of Wine (displaying F5 on the screen). After setting the time, wine
will be made automatically.
6. Set the time of fermentation according to location, season, weather and ambient tempe-
rature. If the temperature is high, the time can be decreased accordingly, or determined
as the case may be!
