Detailed Procedure
1. Wash glutinous rice or common rice or corn, immerse it in clean water (5-7h in summer,
10-20h in winter) till it can be squeezed between fingers. This is intended to make rice
absorb much water for steaming more thoroughly;
2. Steam the immersed rice for a while before it is well done but can be squeezed between
fingers for making better rice wine;
3. Add distiller's yeast
Step 1: Disinfect the glasses and cover with boiling water for more than 1min.
Step 2: Loosen and spread the steamed rice, mix it with distiller's yeast, cool it and
then place it in the container (pressed properly).
Step 3: Add cooled boiling water to flood the pressed rice, dig a small hole at the center
of the rice, and spread distiller's rice on the rice.
4. Place the glasses with distiller's yeast spread into the container, mount the cover, plug
in, and power on for fermentation for about 36h. Press the Set key to select the function
of Rice Wine (displaying F4 on the screen). The default time is 36h. After setting the
time, rice wine will be made automatically.
5. Set the time of fermentation according to location, season, weather and ambient tempe-
rature. If the temperature is high, the time can be decreased accordingly, or determined
as the case may be!
6. Check whether rice wine is done by tasting the rice wine in the hole. If it is well done,
there is a sweet and alcoholic taste;
7. The rice wine is warm after making, and it can be eaten immediately or after being
stored in refrigerator for better taste. However, rice wine shall not be placed in cold
storage for more than 13 days. It is better to finish it in 5 days as it contains the most
active lactic acid bacteria and it is most nutrimental;

Making Rice Wine

function of F1 Yogurt. Press the
"+ -" keys to set the time. Press
the "+ -" keys simultaneously
to enter the state of tempera-
ture setting
Press the "Start/Cancel" key to
start the maker. (the default
time is 36h)
