Detailed Procedure
1. Disinfect the glasses and cover with boiling water for more than 1min.
2. Wash the ingredients for making pickle, dry them (without any water left), add salt and
other flavorings for pickling.
3. Dissolve pickle starter into cooled boiling water and mix it with the ingredients evenly.
4. Place them into the container, mount the cover, plug in, and power on for fermentation
for about 28h. Press the Set key to select the function of Pickle (displaying F3 on the
screen). The default time is 28h. After setting the time, pickle will be made automati-
cally.
5. Set the time of fermentation according to location, season, weather and ambient tempe-
rature. If the temperature is high, the time can be decreased accordingly, or determined
as the case may be!
Important Hints on making Kimchi
• This product is provided with only glasses, so the large container must be purchased
separately.
• Attention: Pickle is fermented by anaerobic bacteria, so the container must be sealed
during making;
• Microcomputer controlled yogurt maker reminds the completion of making with a tone,
and the screen still shows 00, but the operation has stopped.
