Insert the Ink Ribbon Cartridge and push it in until
it stops.
If the Ink Ribbon Cartridge cannot be
inserted
Turn the power off and back on, and insert the
cartridge again.

Close the front door.
Notes
Handling ink ribbon
• Do not attempt to reuse a ribbon.
• Do not touch the surface of a ribbon, or set it in a dusty
place. Body oil from the hands and dust may cause
dirty printing or damage the thermal head.
Storing ink ribbon
• Do not store ink ribbon in a hot or humid place.
• If storing ribbon for a long time while using it, store it
in its original moisture-proof bag.
If the ribbon breaks during use
The remaining ribbon can be used after repairing it with
cellophane tape.

Loading Paper

Load the printing paper as follows. Be careful to avoid
touching the printing side.
Notes
• When changing paper while using the printer, do not
turn the power off. Turning off the power erases the
page image from the printer's memory.
• Use only the types of paper recommended for this
printer. Using any other paper could cause a paper jam
or damage.

Pull the top of the front door to open it.
