TRAY printer operation.
tContact your Sony service
representative.
MECHA TROUBLE nn A paper jam is present in the printer.
PLATEN tClear the jammed paper (page 27).

Warning Messages

When a warning condition occurs, the warning message
appears, but the ALARM lamp does not light.
The remedy is listed below next to each message.
Message Description and Remedy
NO IMAGE No image has been stored in the printer
memory.
tSend an image to memory before
printing (page 12).
PLEASE WAIT The thermal print head is too hot.
tWait for the message to disappear.
HEAD IN COOLING
Printing will then resume
automatically.
OFF LINE The printer is in off-line state.
UPGRADE FIRMWARE The printer software needs to be
REQUEST upgraded.
tDownload the software upgrade
from the Sony website, or contact
your Sony service representative.

Clearing Paper Jams

When a paper jam occurs, the REMOVE PAPER TRAY
or PAPER JAMMING message is displayed.
Clear the paper jam as follows.

Open the front door.

Remove the Paper Output Tray.

Reset the paper in the Paper Supply Tray.
Reset the paper by placing your hand on it.

Remove the Paper Supply Tray.
