When finished printing, the display returns to the
standby mode.
Notes
• Although printing paper can be seen at the output slot,
do not attempt to pull on it.
• Do not allow more than ten sheets to accumulate at the
output slot, as it could cause a jam.
• Printing cannot be stopped while in progress. If you
send a stop print command from the computer, or
switch the printer off-line and press the QTY RESET
button, the current image will finish printing before
the printer returns to the standby mode.
• If you press the ONLINE button while one page image
is printing, and after another page image has been sent
to the printer, the first page finishes printing and the
printer then switches to the off-line state, with the
following displayed on the LCD.
O F F L I N E
P I C T U R E R E M A I N S
When the on-line state is restored, the second page
will then print from the memory.
If you cannot print
• The computer cannot print when the printer is off-line.
Press the ONLINE button to switch the printer on-
line.
• The computer cannot print while printing with the
COPY button (page 14) or printing the grayscale
adjustment pattern (page 19). When finished printing,
press the ONLINE button to switch the printer on-line.
• The printer cannot print when an error or warning
message is displayed on the LCD. Please refer to
"Error and Warning Messages" on page 26.
• When the printer is turned off, transferred images are
erased from memory, so there is nothing to print when
the COPY button is pressed. Send the image to the
printer again to print it.
If colors do not print properly
Print color can be optimized by adjusting the printed
image color tones and image quality. See "Adjusting
Image Quality" on page 16.
Storing printed images
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, or conditions of
high temperature and high humidity, which could
cause the colors to fade.
• Avoid applying tape to a printed picture, and avoid
contact with plastic objects such as erasers and desk
mats.
