Place the paper into the supply tray.
Notes
• The maximum capacity of the paper supply tray is
approximately 100 sheets. When adding paper, be
careful to avoid exceeding the capacity, which
could cause a jam.
• When placing paper in the supply try, be sure that
all of the paper fits completely inside the tray. If
warped paper is used, it may stick out of the tray
and fail to feed. Before loading a stack of paper,
flex it to remove any warp. If the printing position
slips, remove some of the paper.
When loading paper, place the printing
side protective sheet on the bottom.
Thoroughly massage the paper
stack with the protective sheet.
Do not stack paper above
the hook

If the paper output tray is not already mounted,
mount it and then insert the paper supply tray until it
clicks.

Close the front door.

Before Starting to Print
• Confirm that the printer and computer are connected
(page 9).
• Confirm that the paper supply and output trays and the
ink ribbon cartridge are correctly installed (page 7).
• Confirm that the proper ink ribbon and printing paper
are installed (page 25).

Printing from the Computer

Turn on the printer and computer.
After a few seconds, the LCD should appear as
follows. When READY is displayed, the printer is
ready to print.
