Press the G and g buttons to select the density:
Select SOFT to print images with many white areas.
Select HARD to print images with many dark areas.
Select NORMAL to print without adjusting tones.

selection in capital letters.

Press the ONLINE button to return to the online
mode, or the MENU button to return leave the
printer in the offline mode.
The display returns to normal condition for the
relevant mode.

Adjusting gray balance

The gray balance differs between different ink ribbons
and papers. To avoid imbalance, use the ink ribbon with
the paper that is supplied as a set in the same package.
Also, when a new ribbon and paper are installed, we
recommend that the gray balance be adjusted.
The gray balance of the printer is set to 0 at shipping
time. The setting is retained even when the printer is
turned off.
Note
Gray balance of images in the process of printing cannot
be adjusted.
