Placing adhesive wheel weights in mode
POS
In the balancing programs for adhesive wheel weights
(Program D, E,) the gauge arm assists the operator to
attach the weights precisely.
As soon as the wheel is positioned in the 12 o´clock po-
sition and the gauge arm is moved from its home positi-
on the program „attach wheel weights with the gauge
arm" is activated.
LEFT CORRECTION PLANE
The wheel is positioned in the 12 o´clock position shown
by LED 2.
Place the adhesive wheel weight on the head of the
gauge and remove the adhesive  lm. With adhesive
weights made of steel the weight is hold on the head by
means of a magnet.
Move the gauge arm from its home position .
The display switches from showing the imbalance for
both planes into the display for the distance to the cor-
rection plane.
The left display shows the imbalance value and the left
display shows the actual distance from the gauge arm
to the correction position.
The closer the gauge arm is moved towards the correc-
tion plane the smaller the distance value gets. As soon
as the correction plane is reached the display shows 0.
Is the gauge arm moved over the correction plane the
distance is shown with a minus.
The value of the distance refers to the center of the
wheel weights.
Push the head of the gauge arm with the adhesive
weight to the rim and attach the weight.
After the gauge arm is returned to the home position
the display shows the imbalance values for both planes.
