Canceling / Pausing the Printing Process
›
A visual signal on the UI notifies you when the print is finished.
›
A print can be stopped by clicking on the Stop Print button on the top of the
screen. Once a print is stopped, it cannot be recovered.
›
You can pause a print and resume it by clicking on the Pause/Resume Print
button on the top of the screen. Please note that pausing the printing pro-
cess can lead to minimally visible inconsistencies in the layer.
Opening the Printer Door
You can open the printer door during a print to inspect the quality. For safety rea-
sons, the machine will modify its behavior when operating with the door open.
During the first layer (first 2 mm on z)
The printer will automatically decrease its printing speed to a safe speed. This will
allow you to inspect the first layer to assure good adhesion to the bed. The printer
will go back to normal speed when the door is closed.
During the rest of the printing process
The printer will automatically pause. To resume the print, close the door and click
on the Pause/Resume Print button on the UI.
For G-codes which include a Retraction Vertical Lift over 1 mm, opening the
door during the printing process is not permitted. The print will be aborted
and recovery may not be possible.
Note: Homing is not possible when the door is open.
Out of Filament
›
When the extruder runs out of material, the printer will automatically
pause and display a message on the screen.
›
Settings for the out of filament feature can be changed on the Advanced
Menu of the UI.
›
Aft er reloading the filament, close the door and resume the print normally
