Danger from Head-Level Obstacles
CAUTION – Impact Hazard
Danger from head-level obstacles. Beware of injuries while working on the printer!
Danger from Moving Parts
WARNING – Crushing Hazard
Do not reach into the running machine. Make sure that the print is paused or
stopped before working on the printer.
Danger from Uncontrolled Movement
WARNING – Crushing Hazard
Uncontrolled movements may occur aft er switching on the machine. Wait 30
seconds aft er switching on and do not reach inside the printer.
2.3. Operator Obligation
The operator is the person or entity that operates the machine themselves for
commercial or economic purposes, or who transfers the device to a third person
for use/application, and who thereby bears the legal responsibility of protecting
the users, any personnel, and third parties.
The operator is obliged to:

Ensure that only trained and qualified personnel operate the equipment
›
Know and comply with applicable work safety regulations
›
Provide required protective equipment
›
Ensure the accessibility of the manual and that all staff involved have read
the manual
›
Regularly check safety devices (e.g. emergency stop button)
›
Ensure the required cleared space around the printer
›
Regularly check the printer for defects
›
Ensure before every printing process that there are no items in the ma-
chine and that it is inaccessible to unauthorized persons
Operators not fulfilling this are not allowed to use the printer!
