Cable entries for the transmitter terminal compartment (EEx d version)
power supply / electric circuit cable: (Prosonic Flow 93)
Choice of thread for cable entries, M20x1.5 or ½" NPT or G ½" thread.
Make sure that the EEx d cable glands/entries are secured to prevent working
loose and that the seals are installed immediately adjacent to the housing.

Choice of cable gland M20x1.5 or thread for cable entry, ½" NPT, G ½" thread or
13.5 conduit thread.

Cable entries for the transmitter terminal compartment (EEx i)
sensor cable connection:
A special cable gland allows you to insert both sensor cables (per channel) into
the connection compartment simultaneously.
Cable gland M20x1.5 for 2 x ∅ 4 mm or threaded adapter ½" NPT, G ½".
Note:
For the PROFIBUS DP option, is it advisable to use the system components (plug-and-
sachet connection) from the Company BARTEC.
Cable specifications (sensor)
The sensor cable connection between sensor and transmitter has an EEx i type of pro-
tection rating.
• The cables are available in lengths of 5 m, 10 m, 15 m and 30 m.
• You can choose between PTFE and PVC cable materials.
Caution:
Use the ready-to-use cables supplied by E+H with each sensor pair.
