- Lock the wheels with the specific pedal
depressor
- Lock the measuring sensors
• Carry out the operations indicated by
the icons
• Press F3 (Enter) to confirm and go to the
next window. Now, the compensation pro-
cedure also ends.

STEERING SCREEN

This screen is for executing steering to
calculate: caster, king pin angle, included
angle (fig. 27).
The following keys are active in this
screen:
F1
displays the on-line "Help"
function
F2 goes back to the previous
screen
F3
goes to the next screen
F11 displays the menu with the
relative functions.

These are the menu options:
• End of work (Goes back to the starting
screen)
• Set-up (opens the contextual set-up on
the screen where you are)
• Operating sequence (recalls the align-
ment execution setting screen, according
to the user's preferences)
• Help (recalls the Help screen relative to
the current screen).
To perform the standard steering procedure,
follow the on-screen instructions and pro-
ceed as described below:
• release the turntables;
• align the wheels by following the on-screen
indicator until "STOP" is displayed;
• lock all measuring sensors levelling them
perfectly;
• turn the wheels to the left until the "STOP"
message is displayed;
• wait for the data acquisition and for the
turn-right arrows to be displayed;
• turn the wheels to the right (in relation
to the centre position) until the "STOP"
message is displayed;
• wait for the data acquisition and for the

turn-left arrows to be displayed;
• turnthewheelsbacktothelefttostraighten
the steering.
The standard procedure can detect the
steering angle using the measuring sensor
goniometers, without using the electronic
turntables.
At this point the system acquires and saves
the "diagnosis" data for the vehicle, i.e. the
values describing the state of the vehicle
prior to adjustment.
These values are then shown on the win-
dow of the measurement data table.
