VEHICLE MODEL
SELECTION SCREEN
Displays automatically after selecting a
make.
It allows users to select the model of the
vehicle using the procedures described in
the "General considerations" section.
The following keys are active in this screen:
F1 displays the on-line "Help" function
F2 goes back to the previous
screen
F3
(or Enter) confirms a model
selection and goes to the
next screen in the estab-
lished operating sequence
(databank values table,
compensation, measure-
ment)
F6 modifies a previously en-
tered model. This operation
is only possible for models
from the secondary data-
bank
F7
deletes a previously entered
model. This operation is
only possible for models
from the secondary data-
bank
F8 enters a new model (see
the "Enter/Modify window"
section)

displays the menu with the
relative functions.
These are the menu options:
• End of work (goes back to the starting
screen)
• Set-up (opens the contextual set-up on
the screen where you are)
• Operating sequence (recalls the align-
ment execution setting screen, according
to the user's preferences)
• Help (recalls the Help screen relative to
the current screen).
Remarks
• The aligner cannot be operated unless
a hardware-protection key (SIM) has been
inserted.
• The main protection card configured
in the base version is supplied with the
machine.
CAUTION
The wheel aligner will not operate un-
less the main card is always in place
and fitted in the internal slot; in case of
malfunction, make sure that the reader
is wired correctly.
• At start up, the programme checks for
the Sim card and operating levels ena-
bled. If the Sim card is not detected, an
error message is displayed.
The programme can be used only in
demo mode.
• Check that the Hard Lock device is cor-
rectly connected to the computer (fig. 2)
and/or that the Sim card is present and
correctly inserted in the reader.
