8. In the "Reference Reset" "D" Figure 46,
the identification data (Day, month,
year, time) about when the "Save Data"
procedure selected to be restored is
performed are indicated.
9. Open the drop-down menu, pressing
"F11".
10. Select "Ripristino dati archiviati" ("Re-
store Filed Data") with the ↑ or ↓ arrows.
11. Press "Enter" ↵ to confirm.
The "Want to continue?" message will be
displayed.
I. Press "F3" if you want to reset filed data
II. Press "F2" if you do not want to reset
filed data.
Once the reset data filed procedure is com-
plete, the programme will indicate that it is
not necessary to restart to allow the software
to reorganise the data just reset.
12. Press "F3".
13. Press "F2" to exit the "Reset Data"
screen and go back to the general set-
up screen.
14. Press "F2" to exit the general set-up
screen and go back to the starting
screen (Logo screen).
15. Press "F11" and select "Spegni" ("Switch
off") with the ↑ or ↓ arrows.
16. Press "Enter" ↵ to confirm.
17. Press "F2" to confirm computer switch-
ing off.
18. Turn on the computer.
Wait until the aligner programme finishes
data reorganisation before operating.

USING THE
EMERGENCY CABLES
Four recharging cables measuring 2 me-
tres each are required.
To initiate the battery charging process,
connect the charge connector for each
measuring sensor (2, fig. 17) to one of the
available sockets on the electrical con-
nector panel (B, fig. 2).
The emergency cables allow the opera-
tor to continue working even when the
measuring sensor batteries are flat, in
the event of a radio system malfunction
or when the calibration procedure is in
progress.
Four RJ45 standard cables of appropriate
length are required (not included).

UNAUTHORISED USES

It is forbidden to use the aligner for any
purpose other than measuring the charac-
teristic alignment angles of a vehicle (see
description in the chapter "Characteristic
Angles").
WARNING
Use of the aligner for any purpose other
than its original function releases the
manufacturer from all responsibility for
any damage or injury that may result.
It is recommended to use the Personal Com-
puter installed in the central unit only with
programmes supplied by the manufacturer.
CAUTION
The software contained in the HARD
DISK and in the update CD ROMs is the
property of the machine manufacturer
and can only be used with the personal
computer supplied with the machine.
