Programming the Speed Controller

The speed controller is pre-programmed with the settings ideal for the vehicle in the factory.
Changing the pre-programming is only possible with the optional programming card. This can be ordered
as an accessory; it is not included in the delivery.

a) Programming of Neutral Position without Programming Card

• Switch on your transmitter (check battery condition!). Put the trim controls in centre position. Put the throttle/brake
lever in neutral position and let go of it.
• Place the vehicle on an appropriate surface so that the drive can turn freely. Then insert the driving battery into the
vehicle and connect it to the speed controller.
• Switch on the speed controller. The motor emits a confirmation sound "DO-RE-MI" to show that the speed controller
is active.
• Then the motor emits a further confirmation sound ("DA-LA-DA-LA"), the current throttle/brake lever setting is saved
as the neutral setting.
• The speed controller (and consequently the vehicle) is now ready for operation.
b) Programming of Full Throttle and Neutral Positions
with Programming Card
The speed controller can be switched to automatic or manual setting by the programming card (not included, available
as an accessory). Proceed as follows:
• Switch off the speed controller and pull the speed controller plug from the receiver.
Remember the correct orientation and position of the plug in the receiver!
• Connect the speed controller plug to the programming card. Observe the right polarity of the plug: (black =
minus /-).
• Connect the speed controller to the driving battery and switch on the speed controller. The LEDs on the program-
ming card are lit one after another and the motor emits a tone signal ("DO-RE-MI").
The sounds or bleeps are generated by the speed controller briefly activating the motor. Depending on
motor, the sounds may be very low.
Once all the data are read the LEDs light according to the existing programming and the motor emits 5 beeps.
• Using the programming card, you will now be able to switch between "neutral auto" and "manual".
