Steering or driving motions opposite to movement of steering wheel and transmitter throttle/brake lever
• Put the reverse switch for steering or the drive at the transmitter in the right position.
• If the brushless motor is disconnected from the speed controller and reconnected, the alignment of the three con-
nection cables is not correct (this may not be possible with this vehicle, because there is no plug connection between
the motor and the speed controller). Simply swap two of the three cables between motor and speed controller. This
will reverse the rotational direction of the brushless motor.
The steering is not functioning or is functioning incorrectly, steering lock too slight on the vehicle
• If the transmitter offers a dual rate setting, check it (see operating instructions for the transmitter). If the dual rate
setting is too low the steering servo will no longer react.
• Check the steering mechanism for loose parts, check e.g. whether the servo arm is correctly fastened to the servo.
After switching on of the speed controller, the motor only emits sound signals but the drive does not work
• The battery voltage is too high or too low Switch off the speed controller and connect a fully charged driving battery.
Please note: Only connect either a 6-cell NiMH-battery (nominal voltage 7.2V) or a 2-cell LiPo-battery (nominal
voltage 7.4V) to the speed controller!
• The receiver's signal is faulty.. Check the cable connection between the speed controller and the receiver, check
transmitter function (battery condition).
The slip clutch emits a whistling sound
• Set the slip clutch a little stiffer, see chapter 9. d).
